Thank you Bookish First and Roaring Book Press for my review copy.

First off this cover is gorgeous and that’s what made me want to check out the book.

Based on the synopsis I just knew this book was going to be a hit for me and sadly it wasn’t that way at all.

I had really high hopes and expectations for this book as I recently got into K-pop music and television shows thanks to a friend of mine.

Plus, I love me some young adult books especially thrillers/horror.

The story did start out slow which I contributed to setting the scene, but as it progressed I just couldn’t force myself to keep going with this story.
I found the main characters to be one dimensional, bland and ended up losing interest in this story.

I will say I’m not against reading another book by this author as debut novels can be tricky and I’m all about BIPOC and Queer representation in publishing.
