Wow, just wow. I never knew that a story about the k-pop industry could be so creepy. This book was a creepy take on the lengths people will go to in order to become famous. This book is a hint of a mystery, thriller, drama, lesbian romance, and fantasy. I've never read a book that's so hard to put into a single genre.

The characters were fascinating, and the mysterious past events kept me reading. The book bounces between the character's modern day and memories of the years before and the dark events that happened there. I read this book in a single sitting just to figure out what happened before and after the start of the text.

If you're deciding whether or not to read this book, I would suggest reading the prologue. It gives a great sense for the conflict and an introduction to the main characters. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes even some of the genres that overlap in the book.
