This book is the perfect example of a mix of the young adult genre and the horror genre- every part of it that I read was absolutely spooky.

It starts out with a flashback to the past, talking about three girls that are best friends and also a part of a K-Pop girl group together (that also has a tv show). There has been a fight, but it isn’t fully disclosed what the fight has been about, only that the two girls that are fighting unite to check on the third member of their band.

When they get to the apartment if the third member, Mina, they immediately see that something if off not only in the apartment, but also with Mina. It is said that her face is completely different from her actual looks and face.

Mina then ends her life as the other girls watch.

There’s some “hauntings” and reconnections following this event. Ultimately, from the little I read, it’s a very spooky book, and I simply cannot finish it because I am not a horror fanatic. But for anyone that does like to be a bit scared- this is the book for you.
