The ending was beautiful. I cried the last few pages. This book opened my mind a little bit more for trans people. I didn’t mind for the way it was written and how it jumped a lot. At the same time it flowed beautifully. This book asked a lot about who she was and finding herself. I loved how in difficult parts or any parts in her life she remembers them through the dogs she had throughout her life. She knew what each dog was and how their character reflected back on her. I never read anything ever like this book! One of my favorite parts of this books was with Matt. How he was just out of control. Always jumping and peeing all over the place. That gave me a good laugh. This book reminds me a little bit of A Dog’s Purpose.
