What I look for in non fiction books is honesty and the author is totally and completely honest in her journey. I found that speaking about her journey into becoming who she truly is through the dog’s who have been with her along the way was incredibly unique and a great way to display the true devotion these furry friends have for us as humans. They do not care who we are, who we love, and how we change, they only care that we love them and they will love us back the same. I found her writing to be truly beautiful and inspiring, and while the story could be a little jumpy at time, I was enamored by her perspective and the many dogs we met along the way. I’m so happy you are living the life you deserve now!
