Jennifer Boylan tells a wonderful tale of how she found herself and how her four legged friends helped her along the way. I enjoyed this for the connection to the dogs that she had, how each one represented a part of her life and a change that she went through.
While at times the book was a little scattered and jumped around, for the most part, it was a raw and sometimes painful look at how life treated her.
Let's get to the meat of the book, the dogs. Oh how I adored her dogs and her stories about her dogs. She really hit the nail on the head when talking about the unconditional love that we have for them and that made me tear up. I actually read this a week after we lost our wonderful golden, so this book was really a godsent to me!
