First, I was so thrilled to have received a trading card with my book and I ended up using it as my bookmark which was fitting. The book told the authors journey through finding herself and living the life she was meant to live. To experience love, acceptance and happiness- all while honoring the dogs who helped her through this journey. Not only were the dogs honored but she brought to light the empathy dogs have on our lives and if we just observe, and listen, the lessons we could learn from our faithful companions. For dogs have no true judgements, and maybe just simply reflect what we need to feel/see as we tackle the journey called life. Never truly forgetting the ones that helped us along the way!
