This is a memoir told in stages that correlate to the dogs that were in the author's life at the time. The author is trans and started life as a boy and then a man before becoming a woman nd a mother. As she reflects on her life, she remembers the dogs that were in it and the role they played. This is a unique perspective to share one's story. It seems interesting, but just isn't for me at this time.
