I was instantly drawn to this book by the cover, a picture of a black lab. Every dog lover has had a “good boy,” a dog that’s changed their life, been their best friend and partner in crime. I loved how the story opens with life before Indigo and how she was so impactful in the author’s life. I started getting tears in my eyes by page 3.
