Upon seeing the cover, immediately I am drawn out of sheer adoration of the fur baby that so many I am sure were drawn to as well. Who can resist a face like that? Would definitely want to touch it in a bookstore. If I reach out my hand, it's a 60% chance I'll buy it.
"My life in seven dogs" initially brings to mind all of my past puppy loves, and the joy and heartbreak they have brought me. However, after reading the description, I am brought back to all of the people that I used to be during those times. That each dog has loved me for the person I was (and was becoming) and never asked more of me.
I believe we are all a number of different people (so many for me) during the course of one life, changing and growing as different life experiences and loves enter and leave our lives. Some very gradual, and some very jarring and immediate. I am excited to see all of the different parts of Jennifer's life so far, and how far she has made it with the help of unconditional love.
