At first I thought this would be like the Art of Racing in the Rain, where the dog tells his story, then reincarnates into the body of another dog. No, it is the story of a boy grown into a man, who then becomes a woman in body to match the mind, and the dogs who helped this person grow up. How love is hard to show to people, but easy to experience with dogs. I'd love to rad more.
