I like the writing; it's easy to connect to and that opening about Indigo is a tearjerker. Unfortunately, this just isn't for me. I'm not a big fan of memoirs--it has to be someone of major historical significance for me to even consider (I'm talking Jesus or Henry the VIII stature). And I really don't like dogs (sorry!), so that alone makes me hesitant to go further. But I'm sure fans of the genre will be pleased--Celadon is high quality.
