I was surprised when I read the summary of the book. The title threw me off a bit. I was expecting more of a "Marley and Me" type of story.
I will say that, although the first impression wasn't really enough for me to form an opinion as to the content, I feel that this is a book that we should all read. I say that because we never know what someone else is going through, how they are feeling, why they are the way they are as far as character/personality. Instead of being so judgmental, we should learn about those who live differently than us. I'm not suggesting that you have to be accepting, as we are each entitled to our own opinions and views. However, we should try to be more open minded. Have empathy for our fellow humans. Reading a book such as this is a good place to start.
