I've always had a soft spot for dogs, so this would be an emotional read for me for that reason alone. I missed the part that mentioned that she is a trans woman, so it definitely caught me by surprise when she described herself as a father and son at one point.
I think telling her story in conjunction with the dogs who left their impressions on her life is an interesting way to approach an autobiography, and the first look definitely has me intrigued to read more!
