The first page really drew me in. My fiance and I had a discussion of how we can tell the stages of our lives based on the dogs we've had and this reminds me a lot of that. I'm a huge dog lover and this book looks like it will make me cry. I love that the author feels the same way my fiance and I do about how you can count your days and years by your dogs. Even if I don't win I can tell that I will be reading this book in the months to come.
