I think the slight focus on dogs is going to resonate with a lot of people. The organization of sectioning your life out by which dog you had at the time is a very intriguing and interesting idea, and will hopefully pay off. I also liked the introduction discussing why humanity loves dogs so much, and how that relates to the author's own life.
