This is my first ever retelling of the classic rumplestilskin fairy tale and I could have not asked for a better story. I was hooked from the very beginning of the book. So many great twists and turns. The characters are also amazing! I fell in love with each and every one of them almost immediately. I cannot wait to read the sequel to find out what happens with these characters because there is so much more to learn and there was a lot that needs to be resolved! So overall this is a fantastic retelling of a classic fairy tale. I think that any reader can enjoy this one. I for one am not a big fantasy reader and this does have fantasy elements, but it is not overwhelming so even non fantasy readers can enjoy this one.
I liked the cover of this one too though it is very similar to another book with a similar title so it does get a bit confusing. I don't know which came first but either way it's gorgeous
