I love the traditional fairytale of Rumpelstiltskin and would really like the opportunity to see where this unique, dark, magical and at times frightening version of the story goes! The demon character of Erlking is one I would love to see how it develops and ends up, Why does Erlking want this spun gold? I would also like to see how the romance between Serilda and Gild moves on in the rest of the story. The cliffhanger at the end of this First Look is almost cruel lol. I am on pins and needles wanting to read more about this magic boy she meets at the end of this preview. The cover art of this book is nothing short of magical as well as a bit haunting which will grab anyone's attention in my opinion. The description of the characters and settings were so well done I felt like I was in the story as I read along. I was easily immersed and invested - left wanting to know the ending of this wonderfully twisted version of a fairytale from my youth.
