Well I absolutely loved Cinder and Heartless so I was not shocked that I loved this. This author has such a way of writing engaging stories that make me forget everything that is going on in the real world and Iβm sucked into the world she has created. This retelling is an uncommon one. I have seen so few retellings of Rumple and this o e has all the world building and character development I have come to expect from this author. I was synced in from the very start. I do t live the cover. Itβs just a bit plain. Itβs just not very eye catching but it is a bit different than most other covers on YA fantasy so maybe that was a good choice. Itβs different so noticeable in a book shelf of similar books. I already purchased the Fairyloot special edition for myself. It is gorgeous! It takes the typical cover and makes it more attractive. I think any YA fantasy reader will live this.
