I love everything about this book...the cover is gorgeous, and the language is beautiful! Right away I was transported back to my childhood and books with fairy tales, witches to vanquish, and handsome princes to save the day.
I am a high school teacher, and I have a mythology class. World fairy Tales is my first unit, and this book would be a perfect addition not only to my personal collection, but for my class to read and enjoy.
The world is cold and cruel right now, and this book reminded me that in these timeless stories, evil doesn't win. I think we all need a little of that energy right now.
