The book started out kind of fast, it jumped right into a plotline and introduced the main character, Serilda with actions instead of descriptions, which I liked. The children she tells stories to are so cute. I know this is a Rumpelstiltskin retelling, and though I am not super familiar with the story, but this book makes me want to go and read it so I can be caught up and make comparisons with "Gilded". I'm excited to read this book when it comes out!
