A young maiden that longs for adventure spends her time telling stories to her young students for entertainment. One cold night, the very creatures from her stories pay her an unexpected visit and put her in a very real danger. Using her gift of lies, the maiden convinces the Erlking, (who seems to be the king of the underworld in this story), that she has the ability to spin straw into gold. When the king demands proof, a new version of Rumpelstiltskin is born.
I am entranced by this first look. The main character's spunkiness is endearing and the tale itself is magical, making it a real page-turner! I hope this goes on to become a feature film, as the story is fantastic.
