I've never read a retelling of Rumpelstiltskin before so to say I'm curious is an understatement. I'm a sucker for any book that includes a touch of romance, magic, mystical creatures and hunts lead by a sinister Erlking. Especially one that makes the main female character shiver and gasp when he speaks! I even found myself gasping and swooning many many times alongside Serilda.
The writing in this book is beyond brilliant. Every chapter is written in a way to drag you in from the word go. You could say its like magic.
