I didn't know much about this book until a friend of mine marked it to-read on Goodreads. After that I thought I'd check it out. I'm glad I came over here to read the first impression. I loved the interactions between Serilda and the children. This story has a rich, dark and ominous feeling to it. I especially felt that after reading the second chapter. After that I couldn't stop reading and I can't wait to see what happens next.
