I am a huge fan of Marissa Meyer's other books, especially her fairytale ones, and I can already tell that I am going to love this one. This is an atmospheric retelling of the Rumpelstiltskin tale, set in Germany. 18-year-old Serilda is seen as cursed by most of the locals but is adored by schoolchildren because of the stories she tells them. When she lies to the king about her ability to spin gold from straw, she is forced to actually do so or else she and her father will suffer. I can't wait to read more!
