First, I love Marissa Meyer. The Cinder and Renegades series + Heartless are some of my favorite books I've ever read. So I was super excited to hear about this retelling-- I've never heard of a spin on Rumpelstiltskin before, so that made it even more interesting. I love the cover-- it definitely catches your eye and makes you want to pick it up and read the insert. The first couple chapters confirmed for me what I already knew-- Meyer is a genius, for sure. She did a great job of capturing the characters in a way that made me want to follow their stories and learn the outcome (as per usual!) and her imagery is phenomenal. Glad I got to read the beginning, and looking forward to getting this book once it drops!
