Immediately, I wanted answers. The main character is one of those loveable ones -- she has some trouble following the rules and others are quite hard on her. Plus, she has a NEWT as her familiar?!?! How cute is that!!!!! I'm interested to hear more about the magic system, political sphere, and the newt familiar. An intriguing start!
