One might even say I was enchanted by this. 😊 I started the sample not expecting to enjoy it, but soon I was anxiously counting down the remaining pages, worrying where I'd get cut off. I didn't want to stop! I get the sense this is a story I would consume in one sitting, and let no one interrupt me. I don't know the source story well, so I can't make comparisons, but the darkness in the story is thrilling and wickedly delicious. I'm so ready to get back into it!
