This book might not break any boundaries when it comes to plot or story hooks but it's a great read. Well written prose that makes you instantly feel a connection to the protagonist while she is thrusted into a magical world that even she couldn't imagine. I think this would a be a great read for people who are new to the fantasy genre or for someone who wants a fun, engaging story without complicated storytelling.
