This feels like classic Marissa Meyer, back to the Lunar Chronicles and retelling fairytales and adventures. I am in! Serilda is spunky and brave in the face of the Erkling. I really like her as a character. The setting is wonderfully spooky and atmospheric, delightful. The writing is swoon worthy. This is Marissa Meyer at her best. I can’t wait to read the rest of this book!
