This book might have been made for me and it makes my Once Upon a Time loving heart so happy! I mean, a retelling of Rumpelstiltskin plus curses, castles, and spinning stories (and straw into gold)? I was sold upon reading the synopsis and even more so upon reading the excerpt. Marissa Meyer's writing is beautiful and mesmerizing as always, which is part of the reason why I love her books so much.
I am also super intrigued by Serilda's entire character and her various dynamics with the other characters. I am really excited to see where her story goes as the novel progresses!
And this cover is gorgeous! I love the dark blue contrasted with the gold and the imagery with the castle, crown/cage/liquid gold, and the eyes behind them both. The cover has super fairytale-esque vibes and I love it!
