First off, I absolutely love that cover. The cover is gorgeous and iconic, and it makes me really want to read this book. Next, I was so excited to see that Marissa Meyer is coming out with a new series. Her Cinder series is one of the most famous YA series out there, and I was so excited to be able to read a First Look of Gilded. I have no doubt that this will become the next big thing in YA literature, and everyone will be reading this book when it comes out in November.
Based on the First Look, this story is going to be even better than her previous series. I absolutely love fairy tale retellings, and it's so creative of the author to choose Rumpelstiltskin, which is a lesser-known fairy tale that hasn't been done to death a million times. From the First Look, I saw the beginnings of magic, adventures, romance, and fantasy. I can't wait to keep reading to find out what happens next. I have definitely added Gilded to my TBR list, and I highly recommend that everyone else does, too.
