Marissa Meyer is a master of worldbuilding, and the world presented in these pages is no exception. Her detail brings Serilda's magical (or not, as she thinks) world to life, and I love the way it simply draws you in. I'm so so curious to read more of Serilda's magical story weaving and of the creatures that haunt her ad of the world that surrounds her that isn't exactly what she thinks it is.
I will say, however, while the world was stunning, I had a really hard time connecting with Serilda. She felt almost distant, which was strange when the world was so alive, but perhaps I just needed more time to be acquainted with her. :)
