I really appreciate a book that grabs your attention and then proceeds to ratchet up the suspense. I found the characters interesting and believable, with growth throughout the novel. This was definitely a page turner. I just wanted to find out more and how everything fit together in the end.

It reminds me of noire, kind of like the private investigators of an earlier time. The ending was not quite what I expected or wanted, but not unbearable.
