I was excited to receive this book and started it right away. It has everything a girl could want: a kick ass lead female, a broodyesque love interest, magic, twists.
The plot was excellent and everything flowed. The characters were well written and there were enough twists to keep you guessing.
The negative I do not feel there was enough background info. You get some but the story felt almost incomplete or like it was missing something.
I also would have like to have more of Adrius's point of view. With everything that is going on, reading some of the book from his point would have helped filled in the gaps and gave it a more complete feel.
This book does end on a cliffhanger but it wasn't enough of one to leave you feeling frustrated, but it does leave you wanting more.
