From the cover, I can tell that this is a fantasy of sorts and the book starts out with a description of the location that it takes place in. It is very atmospheric and hints at something dark and underlying that feels dangerous. It quickly becomes territorial and leads into the story. I liked that the tie in drew the reader in.
