The cover is very eye-catching. The first couple of chapters have an intriguing start with great world building. Marlow is a curse breaker using hexes to find and break the curses of her clients. In the year since her mother disappeared, Marlow's life has changed dramatically. Marlow is a likable and strong character. I am interested to read more of her story.
