I have not read Katy Rose Pool's previous trilogy but I've heard many great opinions. After reading the First Impression I definitely plan on ordering the first book to her other series. Garden of the Cursed has a great opening and Pool's writing is cinematic. I'm very intrigued by the first chapter and I would love to know what is to come of Marlow's fate. I couldn't help but think of Jay Kristoff's L1F3L1K3 series and I'm interested in knowing more about why Garden of the Cursed is being compared to Veronica Mars.
