Very first paragraph sets the mood. Slow, chill, dangerous. You are thrown into a new world with out a road map and hook onto the protag with hopes of getting introduced. It reads like an old detective novel meet's Frankenstein's Monster. And each step the protag takes gives you another glimpse, another pill, of information. It throws you head first and hopes you can swim. I'm excited to read more and might even buy this book outright when it comes out.
