I'm not crazy about the cover--looks a bit too amateur. The premise is interesting and the writing is good--I really liked the opening paragraph. YA fantasy is really popular, so I'm sure it will do well. Unfortunately, it's just not for me. I'm not compelled to read this beyond the sample.
