This book is so cute! The cover is Great! The book itself is a graphic novel style. I found it easy to read along, I’m going to say it’s probably for third grade and up , or read to by an adult. It was a sweet story of the frustration this little girl has with her hair, it follows her along a journey of feeling different by her peers, to having to go to the dreaded salon to get it washed and combed out to go to a Quince. The book is set up into sections I really liked that , also the cute page at the desk showing what was in her book bag. The illustrations tell the story so well, and the emotions really show through! I’d recommend this be in every library to be available to kids who may be feeling different! Great job to the author for describing everything so well and setting up the story and to the illustrator for capturing it so well! Good luck and I hope this book does very well.
