This book is so well written and really gets the perspective of a girl this age. It felt very realistic to me and I was interested to see what came next. Graphic novels are huge at my library and I am searching for new Juv graphic novels since the kids just eat them up and this is one that I will for sure be buying for the library. Not only was it engaging but it has a really good message too, The was a great deal of self acceptance that I think kids really need to hear more about these days. I love the cover. There is such personality in that cover and her hair is so regal. I love the whole presentation. The characters were very real and said and did things that felt really organic. This book brings a more realistic addition to any library that is fully of graphic novel readers looking for something new and exciting. This book will be great for those who loved Smile.
