Love graphic novels! This is so relatable as a Latina myself. As a little girl growing up being told your hair is undesirable and unmanageable hurts your self-esteem. Reading this sneak peek brought back memories of my childhood. Love the dialogue and illustrations. I need to read more and see Marlene's journey of self love. I will definitely buy this book and recommend to my little cousins. This cover is so cute!
