I think this a the perfect book for all those girls with curly hair. All we often see on TV and movies is hair that is straight or with slight “beachy waves” and it can make you feel like you have to change your hair in order to fit in with an image. I know I grew up with really curly hair and spent so many years trying to straighten it out and make it match the image I saw on TV. My mom and I tried everything to get that beautiful straight hair, from perming my hair straight, trying to perm it into bigger curls, and using the iron on it. So much wasted time trying to change who I was rather than see the beauty in who I was. I wish I had a book like this when I was younger!
