This book is going to be so relatable to so many kids and I cannot wait for it to get into their hands! It's so sad to see Marlena feel bad about herself and for everyone to put her down because of her hair. I don't have curly hair but I highly relate to the tangles. My hair would never stay completely flat or it would get so tangled and hurt when my mom brushed it.
The art in the book is absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to see how the story continues!
