Marlene has to suffer through weekly hair salon sessions to make her hair 'presentable' but she just wants to be herself and natural. Her family just want her to be more like Diana, ladylike, pretty and with tidy hair! I love the colourful fun artwork and the expressions of the characters. I think Marlene is going to be a great main character and I am rooting for her to stand up for herself.
