Though I am not a fan of graphic novel this books seems to be send a positive message. Frizzy is taught that straighten her hair is the right and grown up thing to do. People make fun of her hair. I hope this books continues to show young people it is ok to be who they are. You don’t need to change who you are to please others. This book seems to be sending s good message to younger children about self worth.
