For some reason, I didn’t realize Frizzy was a graphic novel. However, I really enjoyed the art style. It has a nice color palette, and the illustrations were expressive. The visual storytelling paired nicely with the dialogue and Marlene’s inner thoughts. The substance of the story (so far), particularly Marlene’s turmoil and the fraught interactions with other characters, is relatable.
