Claribel Ortega is already a go-to middle grade author for me, but this foray into realistic fiction and graphic novels looks to be a hit! Whether we like it or not, hair is a political issue, and letting people of ALL backgrounds embrace their hair the way they want it is super important-this book will be great for all the girls who are struggling with this, and the art is fantastic to boot!
