Wow! This book was on my top anticipated books list of 2019 the minute I heard the news. It blew away my expectations. Yoon's writing style was unique and his depth to his characters was inspiring.
I felt so invested in Frank's life. All his emotions and fears towards his parents definitely got to me. My favorite character in this book was Q, I loved his character and would do anything for him. I just wish we could have gotten a little bit more from him.
Drama scale was through the roof with the fake dating element. And the cultural elements were fun to read about.
Any fan of contemporary books that have strong elements of race and love between friends, family and even love greater then the two will love this book.
